Rats beginning to abandon Obama’s Sinking Ship?

It hasn’t been a good week so far for the President, and it’s only Tuesday.  First, word leaks out that his Chief of Staff Rahm Emanual is quitting, due to conflicts with Obama’s “idealistic inner circle.”  Yeah, get in line.  Next, we find out that Barry’s budget director Peter Orszag will be exiting the Cabinet in July while leaving, as Ed Morrissey says, “a substantial legacy — as in a trillion-dollar-plus deficit and a $2.2 trillion math error.”  Next, Obama and his Administration are blasted by Gen. Stanley A. McChrystal, the top U.S. commander in Afghanistan for their strategy there, in a Rolling Stone article of all places.

While all of this is going on, the Pelosi-led House of Representatives won’t pass a 2010 budget–the first time since 1974.  Why not?  Because the Democrats in charge don’t have enough votes to pass a budget that  increases both spending and taxes during an election year.  Want more?  Obama plans to sue the state of Arizona over its immigration law, while simultaneously refusing to secure the U.S.-Mexico border.  Finally, the President’s ill-conceived, job-killing Gulf oil moratorium has been blocked by a Federal judge.

Amazingly, in light of everything going on, it’s admirable that he can still find time to golf.

Hey, no picking on the golf. After all, all Americans are uplifted when they see their leader “refreshing” his mind. Just ask the press secretary. Somewhat akin to how the French peasants were so “uplifted” when their beloved queen ate cake. After all, Marie did tell them to go ahead and eat cake, too. If only they could have afforded it. Stupid peasants. And then they went out and did a little uplifting of their own.

The joy of living in the Chicago area is getting to watch the truly professional crooked politicians at work. Rahm’s exit will coincide with the release of the Blago “quid pro quo” emails from Rahm. It’s better than TV.

Oh, and Mexico has filed a suit against Arizona. At least now Obama has a side he can come down on.

You know things are bad when Rahm Emanuel is bailing because he thinks Obama’s friends are to idealistic to accomplish anything. A Liberal saying other Liberals are “too idealistic”? What the hell? Is Obama in a permanent huddle on living wages for planet earth, free healthcare for the galaxy, Israel/Palestine becoming bunkmates in college, Cubs winning the World Series? How idealistic do you have to be for another liberal to call you out as “too” idealistic? Holy shit.

Orszag is bailing because he crunches all these numbers and then Obama goes “well Sally in New York used her dead sisters dentures!” Yeah, but Mr. President … your plan will leave us with trillions in debt and … Obama, “DEAD SISTER’S DENTURES!!”

McChrystal is the only guy being honest by calling out Obama’s staff as clowns. That’s being nice if you’ve ever talked to anyone in the military.

Pelosi and her budget … give it time. The GOP will be shoving a budget down Obama’s throat shortly.

The Oil Drilling – Oh c’mon, this I actually agree with. See, if my neighbor gets a DUI and loses his license over it, they should totally take all of our licenses for living on the same street because … like … that makes sense and … well … uh … you just have to be sure we don’t all do what he did … oh wait … that’s fucking retarded!

    ha…i just laughed out loud.

there is no amount of idealism that will get the cubs to the world series.
